Our commitment to more respectful tourism is gaining new momentum... We are pleased to announce that the Great Lakes Cabins Have obtained The European Ecolabel last December!

A demanding label, official recognition... but above all, an additional motivation to continue to move forward, with sincerity and rigor.

What is the European Ecolabel? 🌍‍

It is the only official environmental certification recognized throughout the European Union. Awarded on the basis of strict criteria, it assesses the environmental impact over the entire life cycle of a service. A guarantee of seriousness, consistency... and sustainability.

At Coucoo Cabanes, no vague promises or greenwashing. This label, supervised by ADEME and the Ministry of Ecological Transition, confirms that our actions are concrete, measurable, and verified.

-50% electricity consumption : Thanks to the installation of heat pumps on some of our hot tubs.

7000 disposable dishes eliminated : All disposable tableware has been eliminated, thus avoiding the use of 7,000 cardboard cups per season.

-70% water savings per shower : The bathrooms in the shared eco-hut are equipped with a Gjosa showerhead, allowing up to 70% water savings compared to a traditional model.
